Canada’s first hospital with fully integrated “smart” technology

This project included the design and construction of the new 11-storey, 1,200,000 sqft hospital consisting of 367 beds and various departments including emergency, surgical, diagnostic imaging, ambulatory, obstetrics, pediatrics, and mental health. The project was delivered as a P3 (Design-Build-Finance-Maintain) model.

The facility will be the first hospital in Canada to feature fully integrated “smart” technology, featuring systems and medical devices that talk directly to one another to maximize information exchange.
