A smart new approach to campus security

This project involved a new six-storey, 160,000 sqft engineering building that encouraged informal, spontaneous interaction in non-programmed spaces, halls, stairways, and lobbies. The building is an innovative, state-of-the-art facility with labs, classrooms, workshops, a 500-seat auditorium, and underground parking.

Lobo’s security systems consisted of:

• IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, Duress Alarm, and Intercom
• A connection to the main University of Toronto security systems for control and monitoring from the centralized command centre
